As a Fellow for Age of Wonderland 100 Days of Learning, a programme by Hivos and Baltan Laboratories, I co-created art-technology tinkering workshops in which we created 100 non-battery headlights using discarded plastics and electronics. We organised a first workshop and relied on peer-to-peer learning for the next 4 other workshops. The objective was to reach 100 lights with their 100 makers. The last workshop culminated in a collective performance: participants took their lights and we went up the hill at night, to turn them on and celebrate our collective action and newly created friendships. The urban hill where we did it was/is wanted by its neighbours/inhabitants as an urban park.
