I co-founded Vuela, an open science hardware exploratory project focused on copying and then adapting/modifying a drone.  We built and sustained cross-border collaborations with technologists, artists, researchers, and local communities, including low-income migrants. We hosted workshops across five South American countries, fostering knowledge sharing with more than 150 collaborators. It was supported by KCE, Mozilla Science Lab, the Shuttleworth Foundation, and PROCISUR.
