Hi, I'm Paz, a participatory researcher specialising in decolonial science

I am a participatory researcher working on the intersection of open science, justice and democracy. I can help nonprofit organisations design and conduct research processes that prioritise the perspectives, issues, or voices that have been historically unheard or underrepresented. This includes the voices of children, youth, indigenous peoples, low-income individuals, and even experts operating and thinking from peripheral places, such as small universities or small towns.

Over the years, I’ve been practising collaborative explorations for engaged participation. I have conducted dozens of workshops with usual and unusual suspects, with experts and non-experts. When it comes to participatory research methods, I often explore new modes of expression, in collaboration with others, and thus push my practice into unexpected places.

I can lead research and impact evaluation processes, but also coach and partner with organisations or individuals that want to lead their own research processes and gain qualitative skills along the way.
